EV-Switch tm / TFI-200 Manual 240VAC Switch + AC Meter
The EV-Switch tm / TFI-200 is a Manual 240VAC Switch to time-share an existing 240VAC outlet between two AC loads. The user simply plugs the cable to the existing 240VAC outlet, then connects an AC load, e.g., an electric dryer to Dr side and another AC load, e.g. an EV charging unit to EV side.
The User moves the [Japanese-technology, heavy-duty] switch to select either the Dr(yer) or EV port. AC connection is determined by the switch.
When the switch is on Dr side, the (left) LED is turned on and Dr side receptacle gets AC connection. (EV side is completely OFF).
When the switch is on EV side, the AC meter is turned on and EV side receptacle gets AC connection. (Dr side is completely OFF).
The EV-Switch tm / TFI-200 comes with two generic NEMA10-30R receptacles and an AC multi-meter (Japanese technology, measurements are within 1% accuracy) and can operate at 24A up to 45C (113F) ambient temperature.
